Recreational dance classes inspire a love for dance in every dancer, from toddler through teen.
Competitive dance classes strive for excellence while also developing a well-rounded dancer.
Our dance alumni include a Boston Celtics Dance Team Captain, a New England Patriots Cheerleader along with Disney, Universal and Sea World Performers.

Dance Classes For Everyone
Creative Movement
Ages 3-5A fun class for dancers ages 3-5 that stimulates children's creativity through an exploration process while discovering the basic elements of dance. Creative Movement classes are geared towards Pre-School and Kindergarten dancers. Ballet, Tap, and Acrobatics are introduced.
Attire - Any colored leotard, any colored tights, pink ballet slippers BLOCH S0205 (Boys - black), white (boys black) tap shoes SODANCA TA-35 (with sewn elastic ties or button ties).
Combo Classes
Ages 5-7Ballet/Tap, Jazz/Acro or Hip Hop/Acro. Your dancer can explore multiple styles of dance in one class. Take one, two or all three!
Attire- Black Leotard and tan tights (Girls) Black sweatpants or shorts and black or white t-shirt (Boys)
Ballet- BLOCH S0205 (S0203 is ok) Pink Ballet Slipper
Tap- S0302 Tan Tap Shoe (Boys Black)
Jazz or Acro- Capezio EM1 Agility shoe.
Acrobatics
Ages 5+Acro is a GYMNASTICS class focusing on floor skills, stunts and tumbling. Dance is also incorporated to round out this popular class. See a video about our Acro program.
Attire - Black leotard, black, pink or tan tights, and Capezio EM1 Agility Gym Shoe (advanced classes are bare feet).
Ability Level - Is based on a student's ability to perform certain skills, like back handsprings and tucks.
Ballet
Ages 5+Designed to develop skills in classical ballet. Correct French terminology is employed and dancers are encouraged to use and apply it.
Attire - Black leotard, pink tights, ballet skirt that lies above the knees (optional), and pink ballet slippers BLOCH S0203 PINK BALLET SLIPPER or pointe shoes (Boys - black shoes).
Ability Level - Is at the teacher's discretion.

Ages 7-12Contemporary
Ages 13+A style that tells a story through the emotional connection with the music and lyrics. Contemporary is inspired from ballet, lyrical and jazz.
Attire- Black leotard, tan tights. Footwear - Capezio Foot Undeez.
Hip Hop
Ages 5+A class designed for boys and girls. Learn how to street dance and dance like those in videos.
Attire - Hair can be worn down. Have to be able to move comfortably. No jeans, sport bra tops or half shirts. Shorts only if wearing tan tights. Black leotard and tan tights are fine as well. Capezio DS03 Black Dance Sneaker.
**IF DANCING IN ANOTHER CLASS THAT NIGHT- wear a leotard underneath to change clothes quickly.**
Ability Level - Is at the teacher's discretion.
Jazz
Ages 5+Precision, Freedom, and High Intensity movement in this free style form of dance.
Attire - Black leotard, black, pink or tan tights, and BLOCH 401 SUPER JAZZ SHOE IN TAN.
Ability Level - Is at the teacher's discretion.
Lyrical
Ages 7+Emotion is express through movement in this form of dance.
Attire - Black leotard, black, pink or tan tights, and Capezio Foot Undeez.
Ability Level - Is at the teacher's discretion.
Musical Theater
Ages 7+Acting, Dancing and Singing! A dance style used in Musical Theater Productions. Students will learn to dance and act in the role of a character.
Recommended this class be taken with a ballet or jazz class.
Attire - Black leotard, black, pink or tan tights, and BLOCH 401 SUPER JAZZ SHOE IN TAN.
Tap
Ages 5+Rhythmic sounds are created by the feet in this style of dance.
Attire - Black leotard, black, pink or tan tights, BLOCH S0302 TAN TAP SHOES (Boys - Black Tie Up - Ask office for details).
Ability Level - Is based on a student's ability to perform a collection of steps. We use the Al Gilbert Tap Series.
Pointe
Ages - Discretion of TeacherA graceful form of classical ballet where dancers balance on the tips of special pointe shoes.
Must meet with teacher/director prior to enrolling
Attire - Black leotard, black, pink or tan tights, and shoes must be custom fit.

Up-Front Pricing
We believe in being up front about our tuition and fees at our dance studio. You will pay a registration fee, tuition and a costume fee (for your dancer to perform in the annual spring recital). To register you will pay the registration fee and the first month's tuition. Costumes payments are due in October. Registrations after 10/1 require costume payment at registration. Ask how you can try a class before registering. Also plan on dance clothes (footwear, tights & leotard). Please consider shopping local for these items. Dancer's Boutique and Wow Dancewear.
NOTE: There is no registration fee or required dress code for Summer Dance.
