Miss Melissa Singley is the owner and director of Greendale Dance Academy. She has been dancing in the Worcester area since she was 3 years old and went on to study dance at Dean College, where she earned her degree in dance. She is also a graduate of Worcester State University with degrees in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. Melissa founded Greendale Dance Academy and continues to lead the studio with the same family-focused, welcoming approach that has guided it from the beginning.

Miss Jamie Graves is the assistant director of Greendale Dance Academy and grew up dancing at GDA as an award-winning competition team dancer. After high school, she auditioned for and joined Sesame Street Live, where she toured internationally performing as several beloved characters, including Prairie Dawn and a Yup Yup alien. Jamie brings strong performance experience, creative choreography, and a deep connection to the studio community she once called home as a student.

Mr. Pete Singley is an owner and the business manager of Greendale Dance Academy. A public school music teacher by profession, Pete holds degrees in music education and has been involved with the studio since the very beginning, first helping with sound and technical direction and eventually taking on countless roles behind the scenes. From the website and photography to recital production, props, and studio projects, Pete helps keep GDA running while bringing his background in music to support dancers’ rhythm and musicality.
