Level 1 & Level 2 Hip Hop Attire
Hair may be worn down. Dancers must be able to move comfortably. No jeans, sports-bra tops, or half shirts. Shorts may be worn only with tan tights. A black leotard and tan tights are also acceptable.
Additional Dress Code Policies
These policies apply across the recreational program unless a teacher or the studio provides different instructions.
Shoes & Sizing
- If your child's shoe style changed but last year's shoe still fits, the dancer may begin the year with that shoe. The new style must be purchased by recital.
- Shoes are occasionally discontinued. Check this page and the Class Schedule area for updated information.
- Required shoes must be worn to class.
- Please write your dancer's name inside every shoe.
Class Attire
- A dance sweater and/or dance pants are allowed, at the teacher's discretion, for subjects other than ballet.
- Tights must be worn at all times.
- Street clothes, including warm-up suits and sweats, are not accepted as class attire.
- Two-piece leotards are not allowed.
