Tuition is based on the full dance year and divided into nine equal monthly payments from September through May. Tuition is not based on the number of classes held each month.

All scheduled days off listed in the calendar have already been factored into tuition. There are no discounts or credits for vacations, holidays, or classes missed due to weather or public emergencies. Please see the Snow Days and Cancellations section.

Tuition is due by the 7th of each month. A $15 late fee will be assessed on the 8th if the account is not paid in full. Mailed payments must be postmarked by the 7th to avoid a late fee.

Balances more than 30 days overdue may result in a dancer being unable to participate in class until the balance is paid.

If a late fee is assessed to a student’s account three times, the remainder of the year’s tuition will become due in full. The dancer will not be permitted to participate in class until payment is made.

We accept cash, checks, debit cards, Mastercard, and Visa. Credit and debit card payments may be made during office hours or through the Parent Portal.

Credit cards added to new accounts will be enrolled in automatic billing during registration. Automatic billing carries over from year to year and charges the card on file on the 1st of each month for tuition. Recital costume payments will be charged on October 7th. Declined automatic payments may be retried later in the month.

Automatic billing will not be turned off if the studio is temporarily required to close or move classes online. Automatic billing may be turned off through the Parent Portal or by contacting the studio before the first day of the month.

Checks may be mailed to the studio or placed in the tuition mailbox located inside the entrance door on the right. A $25 returned-check fee will be assessed for any check returned by the bank.

If the tuition payment and returned-check fee are not paid in full by the 7th of the month, the account will be considered late and will be subject to the regular late-payment policy.

A 5% discount is available when the full dance-year tuition is paid in cash by October 7, 2026.

Students living in the same household may combine class hours to receive the greatest available savings. This does not apply to solos, duos, trios, or private classes. Private lessons and competitive solos, duos, and trios must be paid for in cash.

Cancelling enrollment for your child must be done in writing to the studio. Payments made prior to notifying the studio are non-refundable. That includes automatic billing.

1. If a student is unable to attend class, please call the studio as soon as possible before the start of class.
2. Makeup classes will be at the discretion of the director.
3. There are NO REFUNDS for missed classes.
4. Classes canceled due to weather are not counted against a student’s attendance. However, there are no refunds for these classes. If we are required to close due to a public health emergency or other unforeseen circumstances, Zoom or another online platform will be used for dance classes.
5. Students are welcome to watch a class if they have an injury. Students who watch a class due to injury must have a doctor’s note to return to dance. Students should NOT come to dance if they are too sick to dance or have missed school due to illness. Students must be free from fever and/or vomiting for 24 hours before returning to dance.
6. Please be on time. Dancers will not be allowed into class if they are more than 5 minutes late. Arriving late disrupts class, prevents the dancer from properly warming up, and can increase the chance of injury.
7. Students arriving more than 5 minutes late or leaving more than 5 minutes early will be marked absent.
8. Students missing 6 or more classes in one subject—3 for competition—will not be allowed to dance in the recital.

If Worcester Public Schools has a morning delay or cancellation, ALL MORNING CLASSES WILL BE CANCELED. Afternoon classes may still be held even if school was canceled for the day.

Participation in the annual recital is expected for all dancers. If your family chooses not to participate, please notify the studio before recital costumes are ordered. Once a costume has been purchased, your dancer is committed to performing in the recital.

Recital tickets are general admission. Tickets are non-refundable, and GDA will not be responsible for lost or stolen tickets.

Everyone needs a ticket to enter the auditorium, including infants and children who may sit on your lap. Dancers who are performing do not need a ticket unless they are also entering the auditorium to watch the show.

No dancer will be allowed to dance in the recital unless their account is paid in full. Dancers with injuries must provide a doctor’s note at least 2 weeks before the recital in order to participate.

Dancers who planned to be in the recital but quit or are dismissed beforehand may need to allow another student to borrow their costume to fill their spot in the dance. No costume refund will be given.

Because participation in the annual recital is expected, all dancers should plan to purchase a recital costume. Any costume not paid for in full by the due date will not be purchased. There are no refunds for paid costumes.

Costumes are not custom-made to fit every student exactly. We compare the dancer’s measurements to the company’s sizing chart and order with a little room to grow. Costumes come in standard sizes such as Small, Medium, and Large. Alterations are sometimes necessary and are your responsibility.
